Wizard Trials

    Greetings and Welcome to the scroll of Wizards Trials, contained in this scroll you will find all the information you will need to attempt the Trials. These Trials have been designed so that young and not so young mages can test themselves. Each trial may be attempted 3 times or until completed which ever comes first. Some of the trials are for relatively young mages, while some will probably only ever be completed by the older more experienced Magus.

Trial of Arcana I

    This trial is to assess your basic understanding of Arcana, how to find and recognise Arcana items and how to make new items with them.

    Requirements – You need to attain the rank of  Magic Wielder in the guild, and it is recommended that you are skilled to at least accomplished in Arcana.

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you must find the items required and make the following without any help from the examiner.

1.                    Broken Rune.

2.                    Sword Rune Armband.

3.                    Heart Rune Armband.

4.                    Ring of the Demon

5.                    Ring of the Snake

6.                    Ring of Fire

7.                    Ring of the Spider

8.                    Ring of Ice

9.                    Ring of Health

 

Reward :- Guild prefix of Student of alchemy , (1 Sentinel Part of your own choice)

 

 

Trial of Herbalisim I

    This trial is to assess your basic understanding of Herb lore, how to find and recognise herbalism items and how to make new items with them.

    Requirements – You need to attain the rank of Magic Wielder in the guild, and it is recommended that you are skilled to at least accomplished in Herbalisim.

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you must find the items required and make the following items without any help from the examiner.

1.                    Black paste.

2.                    White paste.

3.                    Blue paste.

4.                    Glowing paste.

5.                    Pink paste.

6.                    Green paste

7.                    Brown Paste

 

Reward:- Guild Prefix of Student Herbalist (1 Sentinel Part of your own choice)

 

 

Trial of Enchantment I

    This trial is to assess you understanding of weapon and ring enchantment.

    Requirement – You will need to attain the rank of Magic Wielder in the guild. You will need to be skilled to at least accomplished in enchanting items and to have fully learnt 2 weapon enchantments.

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you will have to complete the following.

1.                      Enchant 3 different rings with 3 different spells.

2.                      Enchant 5 weapons with various levels of the enchantments you know.

3.                      Demonstrate an understanding of the limitations of enchanting, where rings can be found or made, and what spells are most useful to be put into rings.

Trial of Combat I

    This trial is to test your fighting skills.

    Requirement – This trial maybe undertaken at any time.

    All you have to do under the watchful eye of  Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials) is kill the monsters before they kill you, simple <g> oh and find them. You will not be led to them.

1.                    Troll Champion.

2.                    Greater bladed Devil.

3.                    Vampire.

4.                    Ghoul.

5.                    Wraith.

6.                    Troll Elder.

7.                    Deep One.

8.                    Lord Haylich.

9.                    Ogre King.

10.                 Lesser Kraken.

 

Reward:- Guild Prefix of Student of Combat (1 Sentinel Part of your own choice)

 

 

Trial of Exploration I

    This trial is to assess you understanding of the land and her secrets. Your ability to find you way around the land, and your ability to search out what is hidden.

    Requirement - You need to attain the rank of Magic Wielder in the guild, and it is recommended that you are skilled to at least novice in Awareness. (higher will make your life easier)

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you must walk(no teleporting of any kind allowed) to the following locations…

1.                    Devardec Town Center.

2.                    Tranos Town Center.

3.                    Goldcroft Town Center.

4.                    Frostfall Town Center.

5.                    Before the Halls of the Fallen in Illiyarn .

6.                    The Whispering wall in Hellegost.

7.                    The innkeeper in Wintertown.

8.                    By the candlemakers hut in Tri-dales Ford.

9.                    The flag pole in Pippin Fort.

10.                 The oracle of Woodtop

 

Reward:- Guild Prefix of Student Explorer (1 Sentinel Part of your own choice)
 

 

Trial of Arcana II

    This trial is to assess your understanding of Arcana, how to find and recognise Arcana items and how to make new items with them.

    Requirements – You need to attain the rank of Incandescent Mage in the guild, and it is recommended that you are skilled to at least accomplished in Arcana. Oh and have gained your Greater Mage Staff would help as well <G>.

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you must then make the following staffs.

1.                    Greater Mage staff.

2.                    Staff of fiery burning

3.                    Staff of winter frost.

4.                    Staff of Lightning

5.                    Staff of the Eagle

6.                    Staff of Healing.

7.                    Unfinished Staff.

 

Reward:- Guild prefix Mage Archanist (3 Sentinel Parts, randomly chosen)

 

 

Trial of Herbalism II

    This trial is to assess your basic understanding of Herb lore, how to find and recognise herbalism items and how to make new items with them.

    Requirements – You need to attain the rank of Incandescent Mage in the guild, and it is recommended that you are skilled to at least accomplished in Herbalisim.

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you must find the items required and make the following items without any help from the examiner.

 

1.                      Methas Paste.

2.                      Athalis Paste.

3.                      Femfendar Paste.

4.                      Kar’Larane Paste .

5.                      Keres Paste.

6.                      Larharch Paste.

7.                      Robel Paste.

8.                      Shale Paste.

9.                      Tarat Paste.

10.                   Ugate Paste.

Trial of Enchantment II

    This trial is to assess you understanding of weapon and ring enchanting.

    Requirement – You will need to attain the rank of Incandescent Mage in the guild.

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you will have to complete the following

1.                      Find 6 Items with usefull enchantments naturally in them.

2.                      Make any 6 Items that contain a useful enchantment in them.

3.                      Explain what spells should never be put in an item, and why?

Trial of Combat II

    This trial is to test your advanced fighting and defensive skills. All you have to do is kill the monsters before they kill you, simple <g> oh and find them. You will not be led to them.

    Requirements – You need to of completed The Trial of Combat I before attempting this.

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you must find the following Monsters and kill them, simple <G>

1.                    Ancient Giant

2.                    Fog Gaint Ambassador.

3.                    Mountain Giant Ambassador.

4.                    Hill Giant Ambassador.

5.                    Spiked Giant Ambassador.

 

Reward:- Guild prefix Wizard Guardian (3 Sentinel Parts, randomly chosen)

 

 

Trials of Exploration II

    This trial is to assess you understanding of the land and her secrets. Your ability to find you way around the land, and your ability to search out what is hidden.

Trial of Arcana III

    This trial is to assess your understanding of Arcana, how to find and recognise Arcana items and how to make new items with them.

    Requirements – You need to attain the rank of Arch Mage in the guild, and it is recommended that you are skilled to at least accomplished in Arcana.

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you must find the items required and make the following items without any help from the examiner.

1.                      Rose Pendant.

2.                      Stag Knife.

3.                      Citrine Headband.

4.                      Earrings of the Dragon.

5.                      Babies bottle of milk.

Trial of Combat III

    This trial is to test your advanced fighting and defensive skills.

    Requirement – This trial maybe undertaken at any time.

    Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you must find and kill the following Monters without any help from the examiner.

 

1.                      Erenon Dream Caster.

2.                      Azaal Draon Warlock.

3.                      Undead Dragon.

4.                      Baal Dracon Spell Leech.

5.                      Battle Fury.

6.                      Dragon.

7.                      Absorbtion Beast.

8.                      Black Moon Guard.

9.                      Black Moon Priest.

10.                   Maggot Queen.

11.                   Doomagan Fire Dragon.

12.                   Electric Eel.

13.                   Gargoyle King.

14.                   Goblin King.

15.                   Greater Earth Elemental.

16.                   Hell Fury,

17.                   Hell Hag.

18.                   Marsh Hag.

19.                   Infernal Wyvern.

20.                   Water Whorls

Trials of Exploration III

     This trial is to assess you understanding of the land and her secrets. Your ability to find you way around the land, and your ability to search out what is hidden.

     Requirement - You need to attain the rank of Arch Mage in the guild, and it is recommended that you are skilled to at least novice in Awareness. (higher will make your life easier)

     Then under the watchful eye of either Sherrie or Myself (and other GO’s/Mentors once they have completed all the trials), you must find the following Items in rooms  (not dropped by monsters)…

 

1.                    Shantis Root.

2.                    Snowball.

3.                    Golden Peach.

4.                    Torch.

5.                    Silky Veil.

                                    5. I'll be working on guild armour today hopefully, histories, thinking of putting in a past leaders section in there and rora will be working on the dragon section, tho she doesn't know it yet <G>
