History:
On a little island, far out at sea, exists a hearty community of fair skinned elves, medium in height and build, with wavy white hair, ruby red lips, and eyes the colors of gems. These priests and studiers of magic live harmoniously on this island with nature and beast. Few ever travel far enough to behold this island, but for those few who do, it is quite a treat, its white sand beaches extend as far as the eye can see with crystal clear waters and lush tropical plant life make this place a true paradise. But on night 12 of Winter Cloak year 252, the stars seem to shine extra bright as the oceans waves lulled softly on the white sand shores and all seemed right, for amidst all this beauty, in a cozy little a hut a child was born.
In the still of the night, under the sign of Minion Star Stallion, a baby girl was born with wavy white hair, ruby red lips, but eyes of the forest; with but a few faint cries the smiling child was handed to her mother. The child’s father was an explorer who had made a brief stay on their island before departing again on his quests, but her mother had loved this half elven man of mystery, even if only for a short time. He was a much different kind of man than she was used to…a warrior swift of mind and bow but a lover of nature, and a priest much like herself. After much thought she named the child Tulie, meaning “nature’s child” in honor of the girls father. Knowing the news of a child would not change their situation, Tulie’s mother chose not to write, at least not then.
Many years had passed and Tulie was growing into a fine young woman, excelling in all her studies and living a quiet life for a girl of her age, preferring, to wander the forest or swim the ocean rather than gossip with the girls or chase the boys. Unfortunately her mother’s health was waining and life was about to change dramatically, and on a warm summer’s morning her mother took her to the beach and told her about her father and the time they had shared together all those years ago. After finishing the story Tulie’s mother gave her a satchel of letters and map of Norland that had been prepared for an impeding journey. Her mother spoke of the place called Norland as best she could and pointed out cities and places on the map, Devardec would be her home and she would find welcome lodging and her studies there in the Wizards guild, the near by forests and beaches had been lovingly marked as her mother knew she would need these small comforts of home while there, and there was Woodtop the home of her father.
And so she would journey the seas away from one home to another, in search of man she had never met and a life she had only dreamed about before now……..

~Halimar paced her bedroom for half the night, reading and re-reading the letter she had written to her long lost lover. Sitting again at her desk she unrolls the scroll for one last reading before she would send it to him….~
Ello There, It has been many years since we last met and whether you will remember me I do not know, but I am the elven priestess Halimar. You visited my island during your travels on the sea and in the time you spent here a child was conceived. I knew then you were a wanderer and wished not to hinder you with the news; I still do not…..but in light of recent events I needed you to know.
On night 12 of Winter Cloak year 252 a baby girl was born unto me…unto us. I knew immediately she was yours, her quiet demeanor and those green eyes, like the forest. I named her Tulie, in honor of you, her name means “Nature’s Child” in my native tongue. She is a wonderful girl who has made me very proud, and I only I hope in the future she makes you proud as well.
I am ill and dieing, my time on this plane is short and I know the life of seclusion we live is not for he. She has a thirst to travel, a love for nature and sea, and a skill of magic that will undoubtedly exceed us both. She is still young though, an she will need a watchful eye and protection if need be. I have arranged lodgings and further studies in magic for her in Devardec, at the Wizards guild. I have equipped her with as much knowledge and as many skills and items as I can. The rest is up to the two of you.
I understand this must be a great deal to bear at once, as it was for Tulie. She has never left home and she realizes she will probably never return, but she is just as excited, as she is sad. I know nothing else I can say to prepare either of you for what is to come, and in my last days I have no time for regret. Please take care of our daughter and love her as I do.
Elven Priestess Halimar
~Halimar rolled the scroll up protectively, tears streaming down her face as she whistled for a dove that promptly flew in, leg outstretched awaiting its task. After tightly securing the letter, Halimar whispered a few words to the dove and watched it take flight. Her heart lightened a bit despite her loss and she knew she was making the right decision~

~An exhausted dove flutters into Halimar’s chambers and onto a perch, quickly she unties the scroll and sends the bird for rest. It had taken the bird longer than expected to arrive home and she was eager to see why that was, hands slightly shaking she unraveled the scroll and read…~
Dearest Priestess Halimar, Your Dove was found floundering about the city with a broken wing, the animal was treated and given rest, while your scroll was retrieved safely into the city of Woodtop and delivered to the Chancellor’s desk with great haste. The services for the animal have been paid for courtesy of the City of Woodtop and we thank you for your business with us.
Woodtop’s correspondence Novice
~Sighing with relief Halimar turned to look out the window, a burden had been lifted from her just now. She was glad that her bird was alright and overjoyed at the courtesy of the city for healing the animal, she felt better knowing that her daughter would find the same kindness there. A sense of ease found her as well for she knew that Tulie’s father would now receive the letter and be aware of her coming. Closing her eyes, Halimar prayed a silent thank you and worried no more.~
